New principal announced at South Kitsap High School
Interim Superintendent Karst Brandsma announced Monday that Ms. Diane Fox has been selected as the new Principal at South Kitsap High School. “I would like to thank the interview team for their time and consideration of an extremely well-qualified field of applicants. Ms. Fox will be an excellent fit at South Kitsap High. She has the right combination of instructional and leadership experience that will keep South Kitsap on the path to excellence. Her passion for educating students is inspiring and she will ensure that SKHS students are ready to meet the rigorous academic and career challenges they will face after graduation.”
Ms. Fox is currently the Principal at Orting High School. She has also served as Acting Principal, Associate Principal, and Career & Technical Education Director at Tahoma High School. She began her career as an elementary teacher and worked as Curriculum Specialist and AP Coordinator in Central Kitsap School District. Ms. Fox received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Washington State University. She received her Master of Arts in Administration and Curriculum as well as her Professional Principal Certification from Gonzaga University.

I am committed to helping our young people learn and grow through quality experiences in and out of our classrooms,” stated Ms. Fox. “It is my highest aspiration that by the time our Wolves graduate, they have a goal for their lives and the skills to make it happen. It is wonderful to be back on the Kitsap Peninsula where I raised my family and spent the majority of my educational career. I look forward to serving the students, staff and community of South Kitsap."
